Steve Spremo formed River North Pictures and the company’s first project was the short film Ice Cream. Sladoled which he wrote and directed. Ice Cream. Sladoled premiered at Palm Springs International ShortFest 2022 and has since been selected to screen at 32 Film Festivals. Steve’s background is in filmmaking, creative writing and working behind the scenes on the financial side of the industry.

Steve’s past writing projects include a combination of collaborative and solo written short and feature length screenplays that have placed in numerous screenwriting competitions and festivals, including (in alphabetical order): The Austin Film Festival, The BlueCat Screenplay Competition, Cinequest Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, New Hampshire Film Festival, The Page International Screenwriting Awards, & The Woods Hole Film Festival.

His co-written full-length novel, "North Point", received the “Our Verdict: Get It!” recommendation by Kirkus Reviews.
